FASM Juried Art Show - Summer 2025

Hello! I’m thrilled to share my work, ‘Black Velvet (1957 Monarch Turnpike Cruiser)’ was awarded 2nd place at the Fine Arts Society of Milton Juried Art Show last night!

To be recognised in a room filled with such talented and dedicated artists is incredibly humbling. Juried shows like this are always a reminder of the richness and diversity of artistic voices — and I feel truly grateful to have been part of it. It’s been the first year I’ve participated in any shows so to be recognised at this stage is heartwarming.

The two pieces I submitted, Chrome Symphony (Harley Davidson) and Black Velvet (1957 Monarch Turnpike Cruiser), are ones that hold a lot of meaning for me. To see them resonate with the jurors and audience alike was both unexpected and deeply affirming.

A heartfelt thank you to the Fine Arts Society of Milton for hosting such a well-curated, welcoming event—and to the jurors for seeing value in my work. Also, congratulations to all the artists who participated. The quality and depth of the exhibition made it an honour just to be included. Special congrats to Dorita Peer, the worthy first prize winner with her sculpture entitled ‘Bones of the Sea’.
